When asked for our comments on doing business with Betty Lou Eischens it was hard to know where to start as over the many years we have had several.

As contractors we built spec homes, and Lou sold each one. She handled each transaction with great professionalism. There were never any problems. And all questions were answered quickly, leaving no doubt in our minds or the buyers.

In addition, when my mother became ill she handled the sale of her home leaving her feeling glad about the sale since she handled it with a caring manner knowing how hard this was for her to do. She helped our son buy his first home even though she was not the listing agent.

This in all puts her as an agent that goes well out of her way to help people not only sell, but purchase with ease and comfort. I have no problem recommending Lou Eischens to anyone looking to buy or sell, and have on many occasions with no complaints. She is a pleasure to work with!

The immediate two words that come to mind when I think of Lou Eischens are dedication and honesty. She was tireless in exhausting avenues we hadn't even considered when selling our property. By her "outside of the box" thinking we were able to move forward with a sale even due to the slower period the real estate market is in.

Our property was on the market close to two years, many phone calls and emails were made during that time and I could always count on a timely response from Lou. Sometimes it wasn't what I wanted to hear, but that was part of her candidness I came to appreciate.

I first met Lou Eischens in the Spring of 2004 through a friend that referred me after using her expertise and services to purchase some land on the Hay Creek which flows into Island Lake. At the time, I expressed my interest in purchasing a place for recreational use but was not sure of the timing or exactly what I was looking for in a place.

Lou was very helpful at describing what the area had to offer and what the market had been doing historically. Because of her ties to the area and years of experience in the real-estate business she was very helpful at steering me at possibilities which closely matched my interests when visiting the area on weekends and Holidays.

In June 2007 the right opportunity presented itself and by early July my family and I were enjoying a very nice lake cabin on Straight Lake nestled in the middle of the Two Inlets Forest and Smokey Hills National Forest. Lou was extremely patient and very helpful during the extended search process. She does an excellent job of representing your interests during the offer stage and also following up to make sure all parties are diligent in getting the deal closed.

Her ability to search out information and get answers for the many issues and questions that arise during a purchase could only be paralleled by someone who has similar relationships and ties to the area and has significant professional realtor experience. I will strongly recommend Lou Eischens to all Friends and Family that are interested in purchasing property in the Minnesota Lakes Area.

Last month we purchased a home on a lake near Park Rapids, MN. We had the benefit of working with Real Estate Agent Lou Eischens, who guided us through the purchasing process from beginning to end.
